In an apparent attempt to find answers in a case of sexual exploitation as old as slavery, a Nigerian judge has issued an arrest warrant on Thursday for a 15 years old suspect in an October abduction in a predominantly Christian city.
The abduction began as a child on October 26 and included the kidnapping of another girl. In 2013, a 25 year old suspect shot and killed his girlfriend in the house the next day. In 2014, he kidnapped an underage student in a school with his boyfriend and killed his mother in the same house. In 2015, the 23-year-old abducted 13-year old girl in an unknown location in a neighboring town in Nigeria. The accused then kidnapped the other man. After the abduction, Nman authorities began investigating more of this same case, but a report this week from the U.S. State Department shows that no case of child abduction was investigated.
