Hi all! I decided to write a review about Outa “AMERICASO”, since there are few reviews about USA. At least it won’t be redundant. By the way, it is the Americans who have lowered hp in the TCP, up to 140hp (I have 138 in the TCP), which is good for paying tax (although I think that the tax should be taken not from horses, but from the cost of the car) in fact they have 160hp. Review of the Nissan Patrol – a gift from the father!
To begin with, I drove different cars (from Matiz to Patrol), so there is something to compare with! In general, initially I didn’t really want Auta (I thought it was a station wagon with all-wheel drive), but I wanted something with a frame, all-wheel drive and high ground clearance. Out began to consider when he swept a friend himself at the wheel (Out 2006 onwards, 2.0 liters, manual transmission, four-wheel drive – a friend’s car). I decided to watch exactly 2.4 liters, the checkpoint did not matter, but 2.4 liters, since 2.0 is not enough for him, purely my opinion. The money was a little 400 kilorubley.
Now about the choice: I watched a few Outs 2003g.v. and 2004 onwards, in good condition, you can find, but you have to look carefully. One of the main problems of “Rotten”, the bottom is rotten, not to mention the thresholds and wings. At the same time, there were no complaints about the engines and the box – they worked on a solid 4. I found my own in Tyumen, as it was quite peppy (Body 4, suspension 4-, gearbox and ICE 5). What I looked at when choosing, and what needed repair:
Body rot – absent,
Compression in the engine – about 13 points,
Automatic transmission oil – sniffed for burntness, light
Automatic transmission – the speeds were switched without kicks, they were almost not even felt.

Brake system – replacement of the rear caliper repair kit, replacement of the working brake cylinder, replacement of pads in a circle, replacement of the main brake cylinder.
The price of spare parts was surprised by the price: valve cover gasket 700r. Japanese (from 180 to 1000 rubles),
working brake cylinder rear 800r. (from 700 to 1150 rubles), repair kits are sold separately, the issue price is 170-300 rubles. CV joint boot 500-700r., lower ball joint 500r.
About OUT: 2.4l 138hp (according to title, in fact 160hp), automatic transmission, permanent four-wheel drive, ground clearance with my wheels 225/65 R16 – 225 mm.
