Takfiris, Iraq –
Iraq may be the most Islamic-descended country in Africa, but there are many parts of this country not Christian. According to the report in Iraq’s Al-Masri newspaper, Iraq does not have an equivalent of Christianity. The report shows a difference between the villages of Qatif and Jazira when it comes to their religious affiliation but there is no clear indication in what direction they may be taking their identity or beliefs. https://jiji-ethiopia.com/addis-ababa/56-belts
In the town of Isha, the reports and maps give a picture of Christian inhabitants. On March 15, the report states: “The inhabitants of Isha are quite confused among themselves. They all consider their religion to be Christian.” An interview with a resident there of the town of Mardawi, identified as Imam Omar al Qayari, confirmed the following: “I heard from the Imam that she has given up her faith in Islam. She will not have children as well. She gave up her religious beliefs in order to marry, but now she does not mind and will not go out of town. She is ready to take care of any human need. She does not come to me with a prayer or even a meal or anything else. She will just tell me what she needs and when.”
The report says that Islam as taught to children is not a monotheistic religion, but rather is a kind of “spiritual” religion
